Harness production in Bangalore – India

In Bangalore Gebauer & Griller launched a production facility for cable harnesses in 2010. This investment represents the expansion of our activities into the Indian market.

In a first step the area of 40.000ft² is used for the fabrication of cable harnesses and comprehensive complete systems for the elevator and escalator industry.

The next step in the expansion in the Indian business is the setup of production lines for tinned ribbon wires for the production of photovoltaic modules. The lines are currently being installed at the Bangalore plant. Start of production is scheduled for February 2012.
